"Feeding the Ducks" ORIGINAL

Running through my local childhood park, a happy memory roused of feeding the ducks. An activity that spans generations, a stunningly easy way to while away an hour or so. Dipping your hand into the bag breaking a morsel, crumbs under your fingernails as the grown up holds tightly to your hood should you possibly topple into the water. Coaxing the paddling ducks and waking those nestled in the reeds, their bills tucked neatly under their wing with the rustle of the bag and the ripple of the water as the day old bread breaks the still surface
